Introduction
Our townhouse project in Campanet is making great strides. Over the last few weeks we have been working intensively on the interior work and have made exciting progress - and even discovered a surprise that amazed us all!
progress in interior construction
In this third week, our focus was on the interior work. Since the building was in an older condition, it was necessary to reinforce or completely replace termite-infested beams in order to ensure stability and longevity. In addition, walls were removed and the first false ceiling has already fallen to allow for a more open room design and pave the way for further renovation work.
With these structural changes, we are creating a solid foundation on which the finishing touches inside can now begin. We look forward to adding the details and accents in the coming weeks that will transform the house into a real gem.
The unexpected discovery outside: a vaulted cellar
While the interior progress is well underway, the exterior area brought a real surprise: an old vaulted cellar was unearthed during the works, right where the new pool is to be built! Such discoveries are typical of renovation projects in historic areas such as Campanet and are a constant reminder that behind every wall there can be a story.
Fast response through experienced project management
Thanks to our experienced project management team, we were able to respond quickly and flexibly to this new challenge. The vaulted cellar is now being professionally filled in so that the planned pool construction in the courtyard can continue. The discovery was unexpected, but we master such challenges with creativity and a clear plan - that's exactly what makes working on a historical construction project like this so exciting.
If you want to take a look at the exposed cellar: In our reels you can already see this discovery and take a little look behind the scenes of our construction work.
Preparations for pool construction
As soon as the basement is filled in, the excavator will be used to prepare the courtyard for the new pool. With the pool, we not only want to create a place to relax in the townhouse, but also add an element that does justice to the charm of Mallorca and turns the house into an oasis of well-being.
Conclusion
The renovation in Campanet is developing week by week - with great progress and exciting discoveries. The project shows how important flexibility and experience are in construction management, especially in historical projects where surprises are always in store. We will keep you updated and look forward to taking you on this journey. Stay tuned for more exciting insights into this special project!
